Transcription Rates from $99 Per Recorded Hour, Exceptional Accuracy Guaranteed.
(Plus, free PDF conversion included for all clients!)
Our transcription rates are calculated per audio/video hour, broken down to the nearest minute. And while per-word or per-page rates are available if you prefer, we tend to shy away from something as unpredictable as word or page count to calculate your costs.
Why?
There's no way you can possibly know how many words or pages your audio will produce. That makes per-word/page billing methods too risky! With per-minute rates, however, you'll always know your project's exact estimated cost ... before said project even begins.
Nice.
Publication-Quality Transcripts in
Five Business Days (or Less), 99.0% Accuracy Minimum...
And ALL audio quality is covered!
Although refusing some degree of accuracy on less-than-optimal audio is just unfair, many transcription companies do it. But it's not like you created a poor recording on purpose. ;-/
Véridique recognizes this, so honoring our accuracy guarantee, even on difficult audio, is equally as important—if not more so. Promising anything less makes us feel all "oogey" inside.
Here's how we pull it off:
- If your audio is of normal (good) quality, 99.5% accuracy is your guaranteed base minimum.
- If your audio is of moderate to challenging quality, 99.0% accuracy is your guaranteed base minimum.
And if your transcript doesn't meet either projected standard, it will be corrected for free—and quickly—until it does.
Period.
And when the transcription specialists start digging into your project, if they believe either accuracy minimum will be impossible to uphold—as is sometimes the case for extremely challenging audio—you're contacted right away with a new estimated accuracy percentage for your project, along with a transcription sample, so you can confirm you'd still like us to proceed.
The last thing you want is to be inconvenienced and unhappy because some slacker transcription company won't bother taking time to be honest as to how your project is progressing. Time is money, so we keep you in the loop.
You can read the not-so-fine print on how accurate transcripts are guaranteed at Véridique, or if you're in a rush, get a general idea of our transcription rates below.
Transcription Rates Quoted Instantly, Here:(Yep, no waiting for a '90s-technology "free quote email" or callback. Hey, and since when is a price quote anything but "free"!? We digress...)
Caveat: This transcription rate calculator applies to general transcription, assumes standard "good" audio quality, and it's unable to factor any tasty discounts or promos into your estimate. However, any applicable promotional credit will, of course, be reflected on the human-generated estimate you'll approve before your project starts. :)
Remember, Per-Word and Per-Page Transcription Rates
are Still Possible, If You Prefer.
Hey, we're no bullies. Because we think per-minute transcription rates are the bomb-diggity doesn't mean you must. If you're still unconvinced knowing your estimated cost upfront is a good thing (huh??), just start a live chat (to the right of this page), or zip us an email to suggest your billing choice.
